COVID-19 Health and Safety at Bedrock Care Facilities
Our mitigation efforts have included creating a separate area dedicated to Covid-19 recovery to best accommodate residents in the facility that require care during this time. Please know that residents that test positive or are suspected of having the virus are being quarantined from other residents. We are diligently following infection control guidance from the CDC and state authorities, are being vigilant with PPE usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing and masking.
All staff are screened before starting their shift and have had baseline testing completed in accordance with Pennsylvania Governor Wolfe’s Executive order.
Bedrock Care Visitation Policy
Bedrock Care facilities will allow visits with residents to restart post Covid-19 provided that CDC and PA Department of Health recommendations and requirements. Visitation can be conducted through various means based on a facility’s structure and residents’ needs, such as in resident rooms, dedicated visitation spaces, outdoors, and compassionate care situations. Regardless of how visits are conducted, there are certain core principles and best practices that reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Please contact the building you wish to visit for more details and any specific adjustments that have been made for that building and residents.
